COST: less than $5.00
here's what you'll need...
- Paper Mache box - size is up to you - the sample was about 6" x 6". Or you can forgo the decortate-it-yourself thing altogether and use a ready-to-go container of your liking.
- Scrapbook paper - 12x12 - Let your imagination go wild - you can do matchy-matchy, or do the contrasting-colors-and-prints thing. It's all about you!
- Acrylic Paint
- Embellishments if you choose
- Quote and instructions for the top and inside of box - scroll down for downloads
- Set of Questions - keep scrolling...
here's what you'll do with it all...
[if you go with the paper mache box]
- Paint the inside of the box if you would like.
- Cut your paper- I add about an inch to my measurement so I can fold it over the bottom edges and have them look clean and finished. I usually keep my top edge in line with the top of my box. You could also paint both the inside and outside, instead of papering - use stamps, or other accents to dress it up.
- Cover your box - be generous with the application of your glue stick - be sure and go all the way to your edges so you get a really good seal to prevent peeling. I prefer a glue stick, less bubbles and wrinkling, but you can also use a tacky glue.
- Attach your embellishments
- Paste quote to the outside and the instructions to the inside.
